The bonus is cleared through earning VPPs or VIP Player Points. You can get them by playing in cash games and generating rake or by playing in tournaments and paying the tournament registration fees. You get up to 3 VPPs per hand you play at the Poker Stars cash game tables and you get 5 VPPs per dollar that you pay in tournament registration fees.
