Dan Harrington

Not only is Dan a champion at poker but he has also won chess, and backgammon tournaments he was also a lawyer specializing in bankruptcy.

Over a decade ago he won the main event at the 1995 WSOP and then made it to the final table in both the 2003 and 2004 main events. He also is a very good author and his 3 part series called Harrington on Hold'em is well worthy of a read.

One of his more recent major tournament wins came in 2007 when he took the World Poker Tour Legends of Poker crown and won $1.6 million

He is known as Action Dan in poker circles, and he plays his games very tight and also has a calm and collected demeanor.
